Sally Hansen-Mint Sorbet and Essie-Licorice

The application was horrible for Mint Sorbet, super thick.  However, five days later and I don't really even have tip wear!  Which makes up for how much of a pain it is.  My friend gave me a gift card to get nail polish for when I had surgery so I decided to splurge on a nice black, not cheap, from Essie.  And I can already tell it's great.  I love black polish and Essie has great formula.  I tried to do the fingernail a la Chloe's nails, but it doesn't work well for me!  Oh well.

I got a few polishes the other day.  L-R Sinful Colors-Unicorn (my only yellow polish!), Sinful Colors-Why Not, Sally Hansen-The Real Teal and Sally Hansen-Mint Sorbet (featured in the pics above).  I am saving my money for the new OPI crackle polishes!  I hope I can get my hands on them!

My Deborah Lipmman-Glitter In The Air Dupe

Sorry about the picture quality.  I kept on forgetting to take a pic today in the sun!  So this is my try at Glitter In The Air.  I'd say I did a pretty good job and feel no need to buy it at all.  I used the little bit of Barielle Ridge Filler that was left, Sally Hansen White On, a few drops of Sally Hansen Grey Area (which is actually a dark dusty purple) and the Milani Gems glitter.  I have one more to wear that has a more pink base and a few posts ago I showed the blue based one.  Also, DOG BUTT.  Heh.  I love when my dog lays like this.  But it only happens when serious dog bone business is occurring.  So here ya go!

Essie-Material Girl

A beautiful dark red, vampy jelly.  Just what I needed after having no polish for a week!

This was a pic that was forgotten.  I added the gray crackle on top of Sinful Colors-Scandal.

A lot of polishing on wheels happened week before last.  And that's not all of them.  Craziness!

Quote Surgery

I just wanted to pop in and say hi!  Especially to my new followers :)  I am still, slowly but surely, recovering from my surgery.  My nails have been naked for a week now.  Gasp!  I have yet to find the energy to dedicate to doing them.  I don't have any more posts scheduled but hopefully before long I can post again.  Until then, here is my favorite quote.  This one I keep dear to my heart.  Do you collect quotes?  I have journals full of them.  Writing them down always calms me.

Have patience with everything that remains unsolved in your heart. Try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books written in a foreign language. Do not now look for the answers. They cannot now be given to you because you could not live them. It is a question of experiencing everything. At present you need to live the question. Perhaps you will gradually, without even noticing it, find yourself experiencing the answer, some distant day.

Sinful Colors-San Francisco and China Glaze-Fault Line

I found San Francisco!  Unfortunately the application was horrible and it needs a new home.  I am pretty patient with polish, but this, ugh.  It was horrible.  Pretty enough, but I'll stick with Rimmel's Camouflage.

I then added Fault Line on top and proceeded to be agitated by my nails.  Mardi Gras lover or not, this color combo was not for me.

Borghese Tempesta Black and Paradiso Pink

I love Borghese polishes.  They always go on well and I love the length and thickness of the brush. I have the least clean up when I use their polishes.  I just wish that they had more colors.
Uh, sorry about not cleaning up first!  I always forget and am anxious to take photos ASAP.

I then added Cover Girl's City Lights.  A must have for everyone and easy enough to find!  It layers great to make any polish into holo goodness.

In the shade.

Blurred to show the bling.

Toes on socks.  Girls on film.

It's a slight orange/coral leaning pink.  And again, oopsy on the no clean up.

Trying to get my Vitamin D in and hope that the suns rays add some health.  Look at how white my legs are compared to my hands!

Nubar-Vaso and Ching Glaze-Black Mesh

More evidence that I need a Black Mesh intervention.
This was my first Nubar.  It went on well enough but the tips did something weird.  Maybe it doesn't play well with Seche Vite?

Surprise surprise, I liked it better with Black Mesh over it!

Another Franken Party

Ugly or lovely.

I could not begin to tell you what went into this concoction.

Got my lush order.  My staples and then I wanted to try R & B hair treatment because my hair has been pissy.  So far the smell of jasmine has me unsure about it all.  And I've used it on dry and wet hair.  I'm not sold yet.

Can you see the outline of the bird wings?  This is my car, covered in pollen.  I noticed this and it took me a while to figure it out, but there were other hints.  I wish I could do something more artsy with the photo and I guess if I didn't have to use my camera phone it would be nicer.  Nature!
