Sinful Colors-Nirvana and Pure Ice-Diva

Gorgeous color but there are plenty of dupes out there.  Nirvana was a pain to put on.  It was streaky, yet thick at times.  Horrible.  Usually I don't have issues with Sinful Colors but I know a lot of people do.  This one reminded me of what others must experience regularly with the formula.  Still a gorgeous color though!

I then decided to add Pure Ice-Diva on top and WHOA!  I was not expecting to have the beautiful color above.  It reminds me of Revlon-Perplex and/or Chanel Paradoxal.  Both colors I love but cannot find.  Apparently Perplex is showing up at Big Lots.  Unbelievable!  I searched high and low when it was out and couldn't find it and now it's at Big Lots?!  And I still can't find it.  Oh well.  Pure Ice-Diva will help me with that.  Although I have a feeling I'll use a different base color.  That said, Nirvana is still going strong with no chips and we are four days in I think.

OPI-Baby It's Coal Outside and China Glaze-Black Mesh

I love Baby It's Coal Outside!  I wasn't expecting to love it as much as I do.  I mean, I love black nail polish with some shimmer.  But this was a surprise to me, I felt bummed that I've had it a while and haven't worn it.  Definitely a favorite although I feel like my list is growing out of control.

Then I decided to add China Glaze's Black Mesh on top.  Unfortunately you can't tell in this picture and you couldn't really tell in real life.  I'm going to try it again with another black polish to see if that changes anything.

Revlon-Red Hot Tamale and Sally Hansen-Golden Ticket

This is a really hard red for me to describe.  I posted it a few days ago on my toes and couldn't resist putting it on my fingers.  It's a poppy red...orange/red/pink action.  Complex and I love it!  It has a bit of a retro feel to it.

After a few days I added Sally Hansen-Golden Ticket on top.  Gold is so not my color but I love this polish and every now and then go against my gut with wearing gold.  If you see this polish, I'd snatch it up!

My recent haul.

Oh heartbreak, how you have fueled my polish buying.  Above, the full China Glaze Crackle collection.
My first Misa polishes.  Office Polish-tics and Red Pumps at the Nordstrom.

L-R  First Mate, Blue Island Ice Tea, Rodeo Fanatic, Below Deck and Ahoy!

Slowly but surely I will be making my way through these, in fact you've already seen some of the Crackle posted since I couldn't wait to post them!

Revlon-Red Hot Tamale and Toooooooes!

This is a pretty complex red.  At least to me.  I'm surprised.  It's a bright tomato red but then it has a pink tone to it as well as an orange one!  What the heck?!  Either way, I like it on me way more than I thought.  I put it on my toes since they aren't seeing much daylight and I figured if I didn't like the color, no big deal.  I'm going to have to try this soon as a full manicure-especially on a dreary day.  I'm hoping that I just mean weather.  I'm tired of feeling emotionally and physically ill.  Viva the bright innards...or something!

Cranky Girlz Nail Polish

Chunky Girlz nail polish is a new one for me.  Gifted from a BFF.  It's unnamed but a beautiful burgundy color.  I then added Sally Hansen's Diamonds as a top coat.  One of my favorites.  It makes everything have a nice shimmer.  A top coat everyone should have.

Kleancolor Glitter

I don't remember what I layered this on top of.  But this Kleancolor glitter stank to high heaven and was horrible.  I think that was probably four layers and look at how sparse the glitter is.  It might be nicer not layered but I don't really do light jelly colors.

Wet 'n Wild-Rudolph

So many pictures because I was trying to capture the beauty.  Doesn't work too well on a phone camera but I try my best.  Anyways, I like this red.  Next time I'll probably layer it over a base red since I had to do so many layers.  It's a gorgeous jelly glitter.

Sally Hansen-Deeply Violet

This one was hard to capture.  I didn't get a good picture.  It was much more vibrant than the picture shows!

WhatGutSay Green Franken

I finished off another bottle of my beloved Seche Vite (which has yet to be replaced, I've been using Borghese Presto) and frankened with it.  I like the color.  Unnamed.  Green.  Some glitter.  Some dark and glowy.  And yeah.

China Glaze-Crushed Candy on top of Wet 'n Wild-Bite the Bullet and Sinful Colors-Nirvana

I started out with Wet 'n Wild-Bite the Bullet.  But I got bored.

So I added Sinful Colors-Nirvana to accent nails.  Which I liked.  It's a new color I picked up the other week.  Plenty of dupes out there.
And then China Glaze-Crushed Candy to finish it off!  I haven't even been wearing it for twelve hours and I already want to take it off and try another manicure with the crackle polish!

Revlon-Gold Coin

Gold is not a color I wear in jewelry or clothing.  I still am not sure why I bought this!  Although I can admit it is gorgeous.  I will likely only ever use it for accenting and never as a full manicure.  If you're a gold lover though, I'd see if you can find it!

Rimmel-Hit That

Rimmel-Hit That is definitely one of my favorites.  I hate the name though.  Another great find by my father.  I think that Rimmel had some colors that have similar and/or dupes coming out.  I left this polish on until it was actually cracking throughout.

China Glaze Crackle Polishes!!!

I'm so excited!  Even though I'm in strep throat steroid and antibiotics land, I had to do a little swatch for you!

Left to right:  Crushed Candy, Black Mesh, Broken Hearted, Fault Line, Cracked Concrete and Lightning Bolt

Lightning Bolt, probably my least favorite.
 Fault Line-It's gorgeous!
Broken Hearted-a deep and bright pink.

Crushed Candy-I love this one and how it looks with the turqoise.  The name baffles me though!
Black Mesh-Black crackle.  What else is there to say?

Cracked Concrete-Sorry about the blurry picture, I struggled with this one a lot.  But I love it!

Here's a picture of my base color.  Santee-Beach Blue.  Amazing cream turquoise.  I bought it for a buck in Florida.  Four days later and it looks pretty much the same.

Overall, I love the China Glaze Crackle collection and know that I will be playing a lot with them!  I cannot wait.
