Sinful Colors-San Francisco and China Glaze-Fault Line

I found San Francisco!  Unfortunately the application was horrible and it needs a new home.  I am pretty patient with polish, but this, ugh.  It was horrible.  Pretty enough, but I'll stick with Rimmel's Camouflage.

I then added Fault Line on top and proceeded to be agitated by my nails.  Mardi Gras lover or not, this color combo was not for me.

Borghese Tempesta Black and Paradiso Pink

I love Borghese polishes.  They always go on well and I love the length and thickness of the brush. I have the least clean up when I use their polishes.  I just wish that they had more colors.
Uh, sorry about not cleaning up first!  I always forget and am anxious to take photos ASAP.

I then added Cover Girl's City Lights.  A must have for everyone and easy enough to find!  It layers great to make any polish into holo goodness.

In the shade.

Blurred to show the bling.

Toes on socks.  Girls on film.

It's a slight orange/coral leaning pink.  And again, oopsy on the no clean up.

Trying to get my Vitamin D in and hope that the suns rays add some health.  Look at how white my legs are compared to my hands!

My Ugliest Manicure to Date.

It all started out well enough.  LA Girls Icon.  It reminds me of Zoya Kelly or Misa Office Polish-tics although I haven't swatched them.  It does have one difference though, a slight gold shimmer.

And then I decided to crackle.  My middle finger and thumb turned out horribly although I was being careful to make sure to put on thick layers to get the big cracks.  And I had made sure the bottle was mixed well before I used it.  Apparently not well enough.  Lightning Bolt....ugh.  I immediately wanted to give it away and take my manicure off.  But no, I decided to go deeper into the ugly.

I thought adding the purple crackle, Fault Line on top would make up for those two horrible nails.  But no.  They did not have a crackle love baby and it just looked like I put purple polish on top.  To further the ugly, I then added Sinful Colors Deep Red Ocean.   Which in fact should be named Deep Pink Ocean.  There is nothing red about it.  I have nothing left to say other than I apologize to my nails and eyes.

Finger Paints-Scenery Greenery and Sally Hansen-Hidden Treasure

Well.  I have to admit that this manicure annoyed the snot out of me.  It was too much fall and did not fit my mood although I can recognize the fact that it was gorgeous.  Just not for me.

OPI-Bubble Bath and Confetti-Dreamdate

Dear OPI Bubble Bath,
You are beautiful for the nude pink that you are.  However, this is not my style and wearing you challenged me and made me feel weird.  I then added Confetti's Dreamdate on top, which was beautiful and will be a great layering polish.  Dreamdate will be loved.  Bubble Bath will be used as a base for sheer colors or glitters....or given away, so be on your best behavior.

China Glaze-Below Deck and Cover Girl Anti-Freeze

Now I get the hype about China Glaze releasing an almost Channelesque dupe.  I don't own it to compare but the pictures I've seen make them almost identical.  this one goes straight to my favorites and I love it with Anti-Freeze on top!

China Glaze-Rodeo Fanatic

China Glaze Rode Fanatic has some green and purple (that I could not capture!) that shows up at times.  I was surprised at how complex this color was.  And then I added the stinky, yet beautiful Cover Girl Anti-Freeze on top.  Sorry about the mess of my nails.  I've been sick for a month now and well, if I paint my nails I don't worry too much about what they look like bc I don't leave the house much.  And the rest of the posts I'm scheduling and likely from here on out may just be names and photos. Sorry about that, but I can't manage a lot right now.

Cranky Girlz Nail Polish

Chunky Girlz nail polish is a new one for me.  Gifted from a BFF.  It's unnamed but a beautiful burgundy color.  I then added Sally Hansen's Diamonds as a top coat.  One of my favorites.  It makes everything have a nice shimmer.  A top coat everyone should have.

China Glaze-Crushed Candy on top of Wet 'n Wild-Bite the Bullet and Sinful Colors-Nirvana

I started out with Wet 'n Wild-Bite the Bullet.  But I got bored.

So I added Sinful Colors-Nirvana to accent nails.  Which I liked.  It's a new color I picked up the other week.  Plenty of dupes out there.
And then China Glaze-Crushed Candy to finish it off!  I haven't even been wearing it for twelve hours and I already want to take it off and try another manicure with the crackle polish!

Borghese-Palermo Plum

The picture on the right is color accurate.  I ruined my manicure when I put the Kleancolor glitter on top.  It weakened the polish and that was three layers of "glitter" and all I got was well, you see the evidence!  Palermo Plum is a keep.  Kleancolor glitters not for me.  Although they are interesting since it's not in clear base.  I have the blue one to post soon as well.

Sally Hansen-Rockstar Pink over Thinking of Blue

If you love pink, or glitter, you need Rockstar Pink.  It is glittery heaven.  It's easily opaque and gives lots of glitter.  I wanted to try and do it over a purple a la Scrangie but decided to do it over the blue I had on when I was reminded of this manicure combo online.  Bonus footage below:  cat in a bag!

Playing with Essie Sew Psyched

I loved Essie Sew Psyched so much that I wanted to keep it on longer than I normally would.  I grabbed my Rimmel black and used a pot scrubber to "stamp" with.  It looked very modern art and is something that I will definitely do again.  I ended up adding a lilac frost later on but forgot to get a photo.  And then of course I had to mattify it, which was amazing.  I'm definitely doing this again soon.

I apologize for my absence.  I've had a lot going on personally and couldn't find the energy to post.  I haven't been changing my nails nearly as much either.  I imagine that will change very soon though!

My favorite manicure.

This is an old picture, but I think this is my favorite manicure I've done.  It's Sally Hansen-Gunmetal with Wet 'n Wild Sparked on top and then Essie Matte.  I am going to redo this one soon, it's been too long!
